European Utility Week represents a valuable business, innovation and information platform to connect the smart utility community and meet with experts from utilities, network operators, vendors, consultants, startups and system integrators covering the entire smart energy value chain. The event will take place in Amsterdam (NL) on 3-5 October, 2017.

The event’s focus lies on regional and global developments in Grid Optimisation, Renewables, Energy Storage, Smart Metering, Smart Cities, Smart Homes, Energy Services & Efficiency, Energy Trading, Intelligent Buildings, Data Management, Analytics and IoT, Cyber Security, Smart Gas and Smart Water. EUW17 will connect people from all levels of the utility value chain from technology giants to startups and from senior-level experts to young talent.

Aside from the exhibition, the programme is divided into two formats: The Summit which offers strategic discussions on business models, the latest market news, and case studies, and the free Hub Sessions which include engaging Q&As and network opportunities for more practical industry solutions.

Among the on site activitites during the exhibition will be the ERIGrid project open consultation with energy professionals and manufacturers.
This interactive discussion aims to obtain feedback from representatives of utilities, standardisation organisations, industry/manufacturers, and anyone interested in smart grid testing methodologies on these topics:

      – Holistic system integration and validation procedure developed in ERIGrid
      – Project results on development and enhancement of simulation tools and methodologies
      – Free of charge access to the ERIGrid research infrastructures/laboratories and the targeted research topics

Moreover, European Utility Week 2017 is co-locating multiple events – Intelligent Buildings Europe, Energy Revolution Europe, Initiate! and EMART Energy – with a dedicated programme and exhibition area.
