With the goal to develop, deploy and evaluate advanced tools and ICT services for distribution system operators (DSOs) and electric cooperatives, the Nobel Grid project aims to facilitate active consumer involvement and market flexibility.
The project considers new demand response schemas and new business models for aggregators, energy service companies and the integration of distributed renewable energy production.
 
Recently Nobel Grid has publicised its latest developments by making all public reports available online. These comprise a wide range of crucial topics:

  • Requirements and use cases definition in Nobel Grid
  • Energy policies and market
  • Smart grid architecture
  • Unbundled smart meter concept and smart home infrastructure developed in Nobel Grid
  • Tools developed in the project for the distribution grid, aggregators and the end user
