For the year 2026, the General Assembly elected Aleksandra Dordevic of TU Delft as the new Spokesperson of the DERlab Association, succeeding Dr.-Ing—Philipp Strauß of Fraunhofer IEE, who concluded his mandate after reaching the maximum term of office. Dordevic is the Laboratory Manager of the ESP Lab at TU Delft and has been a board member of DERlab since 2023. Dordevic stated “I am very pleased to be named DERlab spokesperson, and I look forward to contributing to building stronger bridges between researchers, industry, and grid operators. We all share a responsibility to support the energy transition by fostering international collaboration and sharing expertise across the entire ecosystem”.
DERlab is committed to strengthening the global network by promoting knowledge exchange and cooperation among diverse stakeholders through joint initiatives and international events, both online and in person. These include the upcoming IRED Online Conference on 22nd/23rd June 2026 (more information: https://ired-online.der-lab.net) and the next in-person IRED Conference scheduled to take place in New Delhi, India, in April 2027.
