The DERlab Joint Programme of Activities (JPA) is divided into the following 4 parts,
which are required to perform the network successfully. The JPA leaders are indicated in brackets.
JPA1: Integration activities
This concerns all activities aiming at integration of the partners, in particular:
- 1.1 Integration of management including legal aspects for durable integration (Arsenal, H. Fechner)
- 1.2 Staff exchange and joint use of infrastructure (NTUA/ICCS, N. Hatziargyriou)
- 1.3 Network internal training programmes and guidelines for laboratory work (NTUA/ICCS, N. Hatziargyriou)
- 1.4 Joint electronic communication and active knowledge management (ISET, T. Degner)
- 1.5 Preparation of new joint projects (DTU/RISOE, H. Bindner)
- 1.6 Extension of the network specific respect to NMS and ACC (TU Lodz, P. Gburczyk)
JPA2: Joint research programme
The objectives of the joint research programme are to contribute to the development of standards
for DER, to develop common testing, certification and qualification procedures, and to develop a pan-European
laboratory infrastructure for the testing and qualification of DER components and systems. In order to achieve these
objectives the following research activities are foreseen:
- 2.1 Pre-Standardisation activities for DER (Arsenal, R. Bründlinger)
- 2.2 DER testing procedures (CESI RICERCA, P. Mora)
- 2.3 Certification of DER products (KEMA, P. Vaessen)
- 2.4 Database of laboratory facilities and test capabilities (ISET, T. Degner)
- 2.5 Requirements for laboratory development (DTU/RISOE, H. Bindner)
- 2.6 Exemplary realisation of joint DER test facilities (UKDG, J. Mutale)
JPA3: Spreading of excellence
Activities to spread excellence beyond the project consortium include
- 3.1 Standardisation (Labein, E. Rodriguez)
- 3.2 Workshops for industry, DSO, TSO (CEA, E. Lemaire)
- 3.3 Training and education activities for external (TU Sofia, A. Krusteva)
- 3.4 Information exchange (ISET, P. Strauss)
- 3.5 Reporting and dissemination (ISET, T. Degner)
JPA4: Management activities
This activity includes all activities concerning the management of the consortium, including operation
of NoE executive management, NoE network coordination committee, NoE governing board and NoE advisory board (ISET, T. Degner).
